There is a change to the Invesco Sector Seven Model (POWER7).
There is a change to the Invesco Sector Seven Model (POWER7) this week: sell the Invesco Water Resources ETF (PHO) and buy the Invesco Semiconductors ETF (PSI). PHO was sold because its rank in the model’s relative strength matrix fell below the threshold to remain a holding in the portfolio. In its place, the model added PSI as it was the highest-ranking fund in the matrix that was not already a model holding. PSI currently has a strong 5.62 fund score, which is 0.92 points better than the average for all technology and communications funds, and a positive 5.51 score direction. On its default chart, PSI has completed eight consecutive buy signals and reached an all-time high earlier this month. Year-to-date (through 10/10) PSI has gained 18.2% on a price return basis.
In addition to PSI, POWER7 also has exposure to aerospace & defense, leisure & entertainment, industrials, internet, media & gaming, and clean energy. Year-to-date, the model has 9.35%.
