There are no changes to any of the Invesco models this week. As we do each quarter, today we review the performance of the models covered in this report. US equities continued to advance in the third quarter as the S&P 500 (SPX) gained just under 8%. The NDW Sector Four Model (POWER4) and Invesco Sector Sevel Model (POWER7) were both up more than 6% for the quarter but trailed the benchmark. Small cap stocks outpaced their large cap counterparts as the S&P 600 Small Index (SPSML) gained more than 8.5%. The Invesco Small Cap Sector Model (POWERSMALL) outpaced the index by roughly 50 basis points, gaining 9.21% for the quarter.

International stocks also had a strong quarter as the iShares MSCI ACWI ETF (ACWI) gained more than 7.5%. The Invesco Special Opportunities Model (GUGGSO) and the DWA Global Technical Leaders Portfolio (TECHLEADERS4) outpaced ACWI, gaining 11.58% and 8.8%, respectively. The NDW Global Factor Model (GLOBALFACTOR) finished the quarter up 6.95% but lagged on a relative basis.

Commodities also had a strong quarter as precious metals continued to show strength. The Invesco Commodity Model (POWRSHARES) gained more than 10.5% for the quarter, outpacing its benchmark by almost 3.5%.
