There was no change to the Franklin International Equity Rotation model this past week.
While most income equities and funds have underperformed the market this year, there have been some names able to do better. Investors seeking income within domestic equities could look towards the Franklin Income Equity Focus ETF (INCE). It holds a strong fund score of 4.85, which is 0.87 points higher than the average US fund. INCE recently broke a double top at $68 for its second consecutive buy signal dating back to July of last year. Additionally, the fund has been trading in a positive trend since the tail end of 2023. Unlike other areas of the market, the dividend fund trades in actionable territory with an overbought/oversold (OBOS) reading of only 40%. Initial support for the fund lies at $64 then $50, but previous resistance in the upper $50s could also serve as future support. Lastly, the fund offers a strong yield of 4.73%.
