Exercise #3

Answer True or False for each of the statements.

6.) In Scenario D, the NYSE High-Low Index has reversed up to X's at 32% and the NYSE Percent of Stocks Above Their 10 Week Moving Average is at 40% and also in X's. The NYSE Bullish Percent's current reading is 48%. A trader could begin to put on positions with a trading stance.

Your answer was B. False

That is incorrect. While the NYSE Bullish Percent is in O's we see that it has upticked from its lows and is about 2% away from a reversal up to X's. Both of the short term indicators are on buy signals with excellent field position. In this type of situation, new positions can be taken with a trading or short term stance. That is, we play the short term with stop loss points in place. If the short term doesn't turn into the long term, we are prepared to move back to the sidelines.
